1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StepPhone (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and aSocial Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of Ontario, Canada ("StepPhone," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

StepPhone is an app that encourages healthier screen habits by asking you to walk a chosen number of steps before selected apps on your device unlock. To do this, the Service reads your step and motion activity and uses your device's camera to help detect movement and improve step accuracy. The Service also includes gamified features such as streaks and leaderboards, usage tracking, and app limit controls. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using StepPhone, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

You may sign in to StepPhone using third-party providers such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account and its associated data at any time from within the app's settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Health and Physical Activity Disclaimer

• Assumption of risk: You are solely responsible for determining whether you are in adequate physical condition to walk or to undertake any activity the Service encourages. By using the Service, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with that activity, and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that aSocial Inc. is not liable for any injury, harm, or loss arising from your participation.
• Stay aware of your surroundings: Do not use StepPhone while driving or operating machinery, and do not walk into traffic, hazards, or unsafe areas in order to unlock an app or raise your ranking. When the camera feature is active, only use it in a safe location. Your safety always comes before unlocking an app.
• Check with a healthcare provider: If you have a medical condition or any concern about exercise, please speak with a qualified healthcare provider before relying on the Service.
• Mandatory protections: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law expressly permits it;
• circumvent, disable, or tamper with the step requirements, app limits, or other restrictions in the Service;
• falsify, automate, or otherwise manipulate step, movement, or leaderboard data, including by simulating motion to gain an unfair advantage; or
